Terry Anzur selected for Pakistan Journalism Exchange

Terry Anzur has been selected for the 2nd Pakistan-US Journalists exchange, March 21-April 7, 2012, organized by the East-West Center with support from the US State Department. Journalists from Pakistan and the United States will meet in Honolulu, Hawaii  to discuss the sensitive issues between the two countries and the challenges of media coverage. American journalists will visit Karachi and Islamabad, and the Pakistanis will travel to Columbia, MO, and Washington, DC.

“This is an exciting opportunity for me to deepen my understanding of the role of broadcast media in South Asia,” said Anzur, a news anchor on KFI-AM in Los Angeles and KOGO-AM in San Diego. “While conducting media training in Sri Lanka and the Maldives, I learned of the importance of radio in bringing news and diverse opinions to a wider audience.” Click here for more on Terry’s international media training activities.
