There, Terry worked to improve the quality of government-sponsored news broadcasts and preparing both TV and radio journalists for a more competitive market as private broadcasters begin operations in the island nation for the first time. The 2008 program was sponsored by the Maldives Ministry of Information and developed in cooperation with Worldwide Media Associates of Chicago. Training sessions by Terry Anzur Coaching Services included all aspects of TV and radio newscast production and story content, aimed at encouraging a culture of excellence for news managers and the young journalists who operate one-person bureaus throughout the Maldives.
